The traditional foundation of the curriculum is buttressed with the integration of technology in its core curriculum as evidenced by the Intelligent Smartboard posted in each classroom. At the 5th and 6th grade levels, personal laptops are used by each student to supplement and enhance instruction. The Academie boasts being the only elementary school housing a full-fledge, state-of-the-art Science Laboratory.
From the earliest grade, students are exposed to and receive instruction in Computer Literacy through courses ranging from simple keyboard practices to complete integration of computer applications. These courses are geared towards meeting the academic curriculum of the Academie as well as teach them practical use of technology in “real life”.
Wi-FI access is available throughout the school and in all of the classes so that student interest interfaces beyond the walls of the Academie. Expanded opportunities present themselves for students to interact with those from different countries and continents. This is supported by a strong commitment to implement a student information and exchange program.
